Another Informative Zoom Call from the
MA Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence
April 23, 2020 - 7:00 pm

Grandmothers has been invited by the MA Coalition to another virtual Zoom event. Details on how to get Zoom and enter the conference are below.

Zoom....It's a great start to get us more into the technological age as circumstances may demand it in the future if we are to continue our work. It's pretty easy. You can do it on any of your devices.

The application is Zoom and you can load it to your devices well in advance of the meeting. It is free and easy to do. It's like loading a game App. If you have challenges loading the app, your kids probably use it at work and can help. (If you have already loaded the app, you do not need to load again).

Here's how to load Zoom:

  1. Use your web browser and go to https://zoom.us/download.
  2. Click on the button that says "download".
  3. Follow the instructions from there to ensure that the download was successful.
  4. If you are successful in the download, Zoom will appear in your icons on your device.
  5. For this particular call, hit RSVP HERE below. You will go to a registration page where you will fill out information. You will get an ID Code when you are done and you should write it down.
  6. A day or so before the event, you will receive an email with the link to go to the Zoom conference. Click on the link ten minutes before the event and you will get to the conference.
