On December 14, 2012, twenty students and six faculty/staff members were shot at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, breaking our hearts across the nation. Grandmothers Against Gun Violence was founded in the weeks after the shooting. On this day, we reach out to remember them and all gun violence victims, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to end gun violence in our communities. |
