As part of what we hope are many more combined efforts, Grandparents Against Gun Violence - Kansas/Missouri, Grandmothers Against Gun Violence - Washington and our own Grandmothers Against Gun Violence Cape Cod will all be showing up, standing up and speaking up for gun violence prevention on the same day! We will all be standing out in our various cities on this day to show that there is still and always will be strong voices to push for safer communities for all of us. Remember that we pick the 14th of the month in remembrance of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting where 26 teachers and students lost their lives. Everyone is invited because everyone wants safer communities. Bring your friends, husbands, partners, children and other activists. Please publicize this to your other groups.
