Everyone deserves a safe space to live, grow and thrive.
We’re all in this together!

As Grandmothers approaches its 10th Anniversary, our commitment to everyone in America is that we will fight for safe spaces for all of us because none of us is safe until all of us are safe. We should not have to worry about our schools, our places of worship, concerts, and shopping malls. Gun violence is not a necessary outcome of gun ownership.

We are exactly where we should be!

We are proud to say that we are "EXACTLY WHERE WE SHOULD BE" in our mission to end gun violence. Grandmothers has participated on local, state and now national levels to capture the conversation on gun safety and gun violence prevention educating more followers and pushing legislators on state and federal levels to pass comprehensive, common sense gun legislation.

And we could not have done this without continued support from donors. On Giving Tuesday, November 29 (or sooner if you want), we are asking you to help Grandmothers Against Gun Violence continue our work to advocate, educate and legislate for gun safety and gun violence prevention.

This has been a year of hard-fought victories on many state levels. The Bipartisan Safe Communities Act was passed, a momentous effort by callers and groups of gun violence survivors on the Hill. In the next month and at the turn of the year, we will go back and fight for the bills left behind, both at a state and federal level, with the same vigor that passed the Bipartisan Safe Communities Act. A federal Assault Weapons Ban will be a primary goal as well as the Comprehensive Background Check Bill, Ethan's Safe Storage Law, and the MA Ghost Gun Ban. And, as always, we will continue to educate people on gun violence prevention and gun safety.
